1. WHAT IS INSTANT PREMYO SA RESIBO (I-PSR)?

INSTANT PREMYO SA RESIBO (I-PSR) is an incentives and rewards program using SMS where every entry gets a chance to win prizes instantly. It is designed to revitalize the BIR’s “Premyo Sa Resibo” current game mechanics by offering a new and exciting way of encouraging consumers to request for receipts of all purchases of goods and/or services. The instant play instant win concept of the game will drive participation to the game.

I-PSR is the newest and exciting mobile service in the country where an Official Receipt earns you a chance to win exciting prizes, instantly! Thousands of cellphone prepaid loads, P5,000 cash, and MyPhone cellular phones can be yours anytime..wherever you may be!

Two (2) P25,000 are raffled in the weekly draw and one (1) P1,000,000 in the monthly draw.

2. HOW DO I JOIN I-PSR?

To join, a subscriber would only need to text the following receipt information:

PSR TIN of OR (Space) OR Number (Space) OR Amount Send to 9777 (for single entry) or 9778 (for multiple entries)
Example: PSR 123456789012 123 500

3. HOW MANY ENTRIES WILL I GET IF I SEND MY TEXT TO 9777 or 9778?

For access code 9777, the following shall apply:

  1. Each valid Text-Entry shall be issued one (1) Entry Confirmation Number (ECN).
  2. A participant may use one Receipt-Entry for as many Text-Entries as long as the date of the receipt is still within the validity period.

For access code 9778, the following shall apply:

  1. Receipt amount will determine the number of ECNs to be issued.
  2. One ECN shall be issued for every whole One Hundred Pesos (PhP100) in the receipt amount entered. Any amount in excess of P100 shall be issued another ECN.
  3. The maximum number of entries to be issued is fifty (50) ECNs.

4. HOW MUCH IS THE COST TO SEND AN ENTRY?

Every entry costs P2.50 and will be automatically deducted from your prepaid load or billed against your account if you are a postpaid subscriber. You have to make sure that you have enough load or credits in order to make an entry valid.

5. WHICH CELLPHONE OPERATOR IS THIS AVAILABLE TO?

Instant PSR is open to all Smart, Talk N Text, Globe, Touch Mobile and Sun Cellular subscribers nationwide.

6. IS THERE A CUT-OFF TIME FOR SENDING ENTRIES?

There is no cut-off time for sending entries to I-PSR. An entry can be sent anytime of the day. A participant can opt to text 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without limit to the number of entries desired.

For the scheduled draws (P25,000 weekly and P1Million monthly), all valid entries received starting 12:01 a.m. of the draw date up to 12:00 midnight preceding the scheduled draw.

7. WHAT TYPE OF RECEIPTS CAN BE USED TO JOIN I-PSR?

Only Official Receipt (OR), Sales Invoice (SI), Cash Invoice (CI) and Cash Register Machine / Point of Sale (CRM/POS) receipts issued by professionals, private business and/or commercial establishments for purchases of goods and services by consumers shall qualify.

8. WHAT IS A TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (TIN)?

Tax Identification Number (TIN) is the 9-12 digits found on a receipt. It is unique for every person, corporation, establishment, vendor and other entities that file return, statements or documents to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Receipts from professional services such as Medical and Dental fee, Legal Counsel and other practicing professions are also valid.

9. CAN I USE MY PERSONAL OR ANY OTHER TIN TO JOIN I-PSR?

No, you can only use the TIN of the receipt of an establishment for any purchase of goods and/or services. The personal TIN which an individual uses in his Income Tax Return is NOT a valid entry in I-PSR.

10. WHAT CAN I WIN?

There are thousands of PRIZES that await you each day. You can win mobile prepaid loads instantly, P5,000 cash, and MyPhone cellular phones! As an added incentive, two (2) P25,000 weekly and one (1) P1,000,000 monthly are given away as prizes.

11. CAN I ENTER THE SAME RECEIPT AGAIN?

Yes, you may enter the same receipt again provided that the receipt has not won any of the major prizes. This is because I-PSR will require you to submit the original receipt used to enter when you claim your prize.

12. HOW DO I KNOW IF THE ENTRY SENT IS VALID?

Each valid syntax sent will contain the following details:

  1. Notification message whether or not a sub won an instant prize.
  2. Entry Confirmation Number (ECN) also known as Entry Number.

13. WHAT IS THE VALIDITY OF THE RECEIPT THAT I CAN USE?

Receipts dated October 1, 2010 onwards may be used to join. Should you win a major prize and the date of the receipt you used is prior to October 1, 2010, your entry will be disqualified.

14. HOW LONG IS ONE ENTRY VALID?

For the instant PSR, one entry is valid only at the time you text in and receive the response on whether or not you won a prize. To earn more chances in winning prizes, you must text again and enter the receipt details

15. HOW DO I KNOW IF I WON A PRIZE?

When you send an entry, the system will automatically send a message informing you whether or not you won a prize.

If you win a P30 Prepaid Load, it will be sent to your phone within 24 hours and you will receive a message as soon as your prize has been awarded.

If you win P5,000, a cellular phone, P25,000 or P1Million, an authorized PSR representative will call you on the mobile phone used in sending entries and inform you of the verification & validation procedures.

16. HOW ARE WINNERS OF MAJOR PRIZES NOTIFIED?

Each valid syntax sent will contain the following details:

  • Recipient of the P5,000, MyPhone cellular phones, P25,000 and P1 million ECN will be notified via a phone call from the i-PSR designated land line (632) 338-9777 or (632) 338-5599.
  • “Winner” shall be asked to submit the following:
    1. A clear copy of the receipt associated with the drawn ECN;
    2. Two (2) valid photo bearing IDs; and
    3. The winner’s complete address and mobile number.

If the copy of the faxed document is blurred, the validation team may ask the “winner” to present a clearer photocopy or scanned copy of the original document, which will be referred to during the validation process.

17. HOW MANY TIMES CAN I WIN WITH ONE (1) ENTRY?

One entry can win an instant prize only once. The participant will have to send in new entries in order to qualify to win another prize. However, as an added incentive, said entry will be automatically included in 1 weekly and 1 monthly draw.

18. CAN I WIN MORE THAN ONE PRIZE?

Yes, you can. There is no limit as to the number of times you send in an entry and win prizes. However, I-PSR, through PhilWeb and the BIR, reserves the right to disqualify or block a mobile number from entering and winning if it appears that there was fraud or inconsistencies in the way the mobile subscriber is playing.

19. HOW DO I KNOW IF THE TEXT MESSAGE I RECEIVE IS REALLY COMING FROM I-PSR?

All replies sent via text will only come from the number 9777 or 9778. If you win a major prize, an I-PSR representative will call you on your mobile phone with the number (02) 338-9777 or (02) 338-5599.

Remember, I-PSR does not require you to pay any amount. However, I-PSR shall request the winner to submit documents either via fax, snail mail, email or the like to begin the verification procedures.

20. WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE IN VERIFYING/VALIDATING A WINNING ENTRY?

  • All verification and validation procedures shall be conducted by an I-PSR team through the Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and PhilWeb Corporation.
  • PhilWeb shall provide copies of all documents to BIR once the I-PSR Validation Team convenes at the BIR National Office or any designated venue. PhilWeb shall also provide BIR with the list containing the details of winning numbers, i.e. name of winner, mobile number, TIN, winning receipt number and amount.
  • The PSR Validation Team shall verify all details indicated in the winning receipt such as:
    1. the TIN of the establishment;
    2. the receipt number;
    3. the receipt amount;
    4. the receipt date is within the valid dates.

21. WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS AN INCONSISTENCY IN THE TEXT ENTRY SENT AND THE RECEIPT SUBMITTED?

  • Information in the Text-Entry must match the information in the “winning” receipt. If the details of any but not all information in the Text-Entry are inconsistent such that one (1) up to three (3) digits and/or characters are omitted or transposed, the I-PSR Validation Team may reconsider the claim and shall require the “winner” to submit a duly notarized affidavit/certification conveying the circumstances that lead to the occurrence of said inconsistency.
  • If all the requisites are in order, the I-PSR Validating Team shall prepare and sign the Prize Claim Validation Form to show proof of the legitimacy of the “winner”. If the verification shall result in the disqualification of the raffle entry, the team shall also prepare the Prize Claim Disqualification Form and the reason for such shall be indicated in the form and accordingly, the claimant shall be informed by PhilWeb.

22. HOW DO I SUBMIT THE REQUIREMENTS FOR VALIDATION?

23. HOW ARE PRIZES CLAIMED?

  • P30 Load Winner: Load will automatically be pushed to the cell number of the winner. In case the winner is a post paid user, winner will be asked to nominate a prepaid number.
  • P5,000 Cash / Cellular Phone Winner / P25,000:
    • Metro Manila winners of the P5,000, P25,000 Cash or MyPhone cellular phone may personally pick up his prize from the Philweb Corporation office located at The Penthouse, Alphaland Southgate Tower EDSA cor. Pasong Tamo Ext. Makati City, Monday to Friday, except holidays.
    • Provincial winners shall receive a call from an I-PSR representative to confirm whether he prefers to personally pick up his prize or have this delivered by a courier to his preferred address. Should the winner decide to have his prize delivered, this will be free of charge provided that the 1st delivery is successful. Succeeding attempts to deliver the prize would have to be at the expense of the winner.
  • P1,000,000 Cash Winner:
    • Winners of the P1,000,000 cash shall submit the original receipt and present the original IDs submitted to the Philweb office before or upon claiming his prize.
    • Metro Manila and provincial winners of the P1,000,000 cash shall personally pick up his prize during the awarding ceremony as determined by BIR.
    • No courier delivery is allowed for P1,000,000 prize.

24. CAN A REPRESENTATIVE CLAIM THE PRIZE IN BEHALF OF A WINNER?

If the claimant is only an authorized representative of the person/company listed in the receipt, said representative shall be asked to present the following:

  1. Authorization Letter signed by the winner
  2. Two (2) valid photo-bearing IDs of both the representative and the winner; and
  3. Original receipt used in sending entry to I-PSR.

Failure to present the above requirements will compel BIR & Philweb to disapprove the claiming of the prize.

25. HOW LONG IS THE CLAIMING PERIOD?

For postpaid winners of P30 cellphone load, I-PSR will only attempt to call the winner up to 48 hours from date of winning to ask him to nominate an alternative prepaid mobile number to send the load prize instead.

For major prize winners (P5K, MyPhone cellular phones, P25,000 and P1Million), IPSR through PhilWeb will attempt to contact the winner at least once per week or 5x for the duration of the 30 days after the 1st try.

If the eligible winner is successfully contacted, he will have fifteen (15) days from the date of the successful contact to submit all requirements for verification and validation.

Declared winners shall have sixty (60) days from the date of notification that he is declared a winner to submit the requirements and claim his prize. Otherwise, INSTANT PSR/BIR/PhilWeb reserves the right to re-offer the forfeited prize/s at a future date.
